Speaker Series Popular Up Florida’s West Coast
Posted on May 9, 2017
Across Tampa Bay, Sanibel-Captiva and Naples, the Trust Company’s 2017 annual speaker series was more popular than ever. Hundreds of women and men attended programs from January through April regarding valuable topics on Investing, Digital Due Diligence, How Memory Loss Affects Estate Planning, Wealth Preservation, Recharging Your Focus, and Planning Long-term Care to name a few. Each year, the firm considers what is most important to participants, and develops a poignant educational series to support and expand their client experience.
This year, the Trust Company offices in Sanibel and Naples adapted their annual women’s speaker series to include men at a few programs, prompting the new series named “WOWPlus.” The original name is W.O.W. for Women | Opportunity | Wealth. “Women so often commented that they wished their husband had been present to hear the information, that we decided to make an adjustment to our guest list,” said Naples Wealth Services Advisor, Cherry Smith. “We were pleased to see that almost 50% of our attendees at co-ed programs were men – so clearly, the information was of value to them this year.”
In Tampa Bay, Vice President of Client Services, Carla Powers continued the “all women’s” programming, which continues to be very popular with the metropolitan market. Presentations were focused on topics important to Tampa’s demographic with Personal Coaching, Investing for Women and Vetting Responsible Homecare for a loved one.
