Porter Joins Naples Trust Company

The Naples Trust Company is pleased to welcome the addition of Billie Ann Porter, CTFA, CFP® Senior Vice President, Senior Trust Officer. Porter serves as the main point of contact for her client relationships and is responsible for overseeing the execution of trust and investment services on behalf of the client. As Senior Trust Officer, she will also maintain communication between departments to assure all team members are aligned with client goals. “Billie’s extensive trust background and direct work with clients made her an ideal candidate for this key position,” said West McCann, President of The Naples Trust Company. “We are confident she will deliver the level of care to which our clients are accustomed.”
Porter has more than 17 years’ experience in the wealth management industry. Her most recent position was at FineMark National Bank & Trust, Estero, FL as Vice President and Trust Administrator. Earlier, she was Assistant Vice President, and Senior Trust Administrator at BMO Private Bank of Bonita Springs/Naples, FL. Both positions encompassed serving as a trusted advisor to her clients, including financial planning evaluation, estate plan reviews, and partnering with clients’ attorneys and CPAs for the benefit of clients’ fiduciary goals.
An active member of the professional community, Porter has served as Past President of the Bonita Springs Assistance Office Board of Directors, is a Graduate of Leadership Bonita (SWFL) 2013 and past co-chair of Leadership Bonita (SWFL) Alumni Committee, Past-President, Lee County Estate Planning Committee, and Past-President, SWFL Hispanic Chamber of Commerce to name a few.
Porter obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Spanish from Cornell College, Mount Vernon, IA. She is a graduate of the American Bankers Association’s National Graduate Trust School and a Graduate of the Florida Bankers Association’s Florida Graduate Trust School. Porter is a Certified Trust & Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP®). Her office is located within The Naples Trust Company at Magnolia Square off Pine Ridge and Goodlette-Frank Road.
