Penn and Leon Join Tampa Bay Trust Company

The Tampa Bay Trust Company has announced that Christine Penn, Assistant Vice President and Jennifer S. Leon, Assistant Vice President have recently joined the firm, rounding out the Tampa Bay team. Penn serves on the client services and trust operations team. She is responsible for the daily management and execution of numerous tasks surrounding a client’s relationship. She was previously at Wilmington Trust, Wilmington, Delaware where she was Assistant Vice President – Client Advisor for several years. Some of her responsibilities encompassed coaching staff in developing meaningful client relationships resulting in client satisfaction and retention. Michael R. Dreyer, President of The Tampa Bay Trust Company said, “Christine comes to us with a long and diverse background of trust experience and client care. She is a valuable addition to the team and our clients.” Penn attended Delaware Community College at Wilmington, and Wilmington College, New Castle, Delaware where she studied management and marketing. She is also a 2012 graduate of the Cannon Financial Institute Trust School.
Jennifer Leon has joined The Tampa Bay Trust Company as Office Manager. Her responsibilities include front office client management and communication, formal correspondence, presentation collateral production, office technology and oversight of office operations. In addition, she will provide executive assistance to CEO, Terence M. Igo and President, Michael R. Dreyer, managing schedules, appointments and acting as a key point of contact. “Jen is a welcome addition to our growing company,” said Igo, “and her skill set will support every department, as well as prioritize and expedite upon what is needed most on a daily basis.”
Leon has more than 15 years of executive support experience. She joins the firm from Lake Wales Medical Center of Lake Wales, Florida where she served as Executive Assistant in the C-Suite providing support for multiple members of the leadership team. In her position, she frequently managed communications between the C-Suite and senior management teams, and various departments, while managing the numerous responsibilities that accompany such a role. Leon completed business related courses at the State College of Florida; financial courses through the American Institute of Banking, and bookkeeping and financial classes at MCC South. Both Penn and Leon are located at Tampa’s main office on Boy Scout Boulevard.
