Naples Trust Company Expands to Marco Island

The Naples Trust Company, a division of The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company has announced the opening of a boutique office on Marco Island to better serve their Marco Island clientele. Carol B. Boyd, President of The Naples Trust Company said, “Based upon our clients’ needs and the growing number of inquiries for personalized wealth management on Marco Island, we believe the time is right to make an outward commitment to the community.”
The new office space is within the SunTrust Building at the corner of Collier Boulevard and Bald Eagle Drive at 950 N. Collier Boulevard, Suite 401. Wealth Services Advisors, Scott Hansen and Cherry Smith will be a regular presence on the island and available to meet with clients on a daily basis. “Our flagship office was established on Sanibel Island 15 years ago, so we understand the unique environment in which island residents live, and the need to provide convenient access to their professional advisors,” said Cherry Smith, Executive Vice President.
Scott Hansen, Wealth Services Advisor, has 35 years of experience in the financial services industry and prior to joining The Naples Trust Company, served as managing director of BMO Private Bank in Naples. He serves on the board of directors of the Marco Island YMCA.
Cherry Smith, Wealth Services Advisor, held Domicile programs on Marco last season and has more scheduled for the coming months. Smith has over 35 years of experience in the industry, previously serving for 13 years at Northern Trust in Naples. She currently serves on the board of directors of the Marco Island Historical Society.
