Karen Meinen serves as a primary point of contact for her clients by managing the daily business of account intake, administration and cash transfers, among other assignments. She joined The Trust Company after an established career at Busey Bank/Investors’ Security Trust Company of Fort Myers, FL where she held the position of Vice President, Fiduciary Advisor. She managed a $135 million book of business, serving as a personal relationship manager to wealth management clients, and assisting team members in clients’ investment reviews. While at Investors’ Security Trust, Karen held the position of Portfolio Manager/Investment Manager for 17 years. From 1993 to 2003, she built a career at SunTrust Bank, Central Florida and then Southwest Florida consisting of roles as General Accountant, Lead Reconciling Specialist and Personal Asset Management Representative. Karen is a graduate of the Cannon Trust School and holds the Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certifications. She is a member of the Financial Planning Association of Southwest Florida.
