Mitchell Dario Joins Naples Trust Portfolio Management Team

The Naples Trust Company is pleased to welcome Mitchell Dario, CFA, Senior Vice President, Senior Portfolio Manager to the team. Dario is responsible for researching, analyzing, and monitoring investment assets for client portfolios, and advising clients on investment strategies that align with their financial goals and time horizons.
Before relocating to Naples, FL to join the team, Dario served as a Senior Research Analyst and Team Lead at Bridgewater Associates in Westport, CT. He performed investment research and analysis for large public pensions, sovereign wealth funds, and corporations on a broad range of topics, including portfolio construction and hedging, proprietary strategy design and positioning, and global market outlook. ““Mitch has an extremely deep skill set in security analysis that will serve as an additional benefit to our clients,” said West McCann, Market President, The Naples Trust Company. “We are delighted to have him on the team.”
Dario’s New York-based career included serving as an analyst at SECOR Asset Management where he analyzed, valued, and researched investments with over $20 billion in aggregate market value for SECOR’s hedge fund strategies and portfolio solutions businesses. He also served as a Senior Consultant in the Financial Services Office at EY advising large multi-national banks and investment managers on financial product valuation, risk management and performance improvement opportunities. Earlier he worked at Morgan Stanley as a Director in Global Wealth Management where he developed and maintained strategic target operating models for the successful joint venture between Morgan Stanley and Smith Barney.
Dario obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Lehigh University, Bethlehem, PA and is a Chartered Financial Analyst Charterholder, as well as a member of New York Society of Securities Analysts. His office is located within The Naples Trust Company at 5920 Goodlette-Frank Road in Naples, FL.
