Costello Accepted into Florida Fellows Institute

T. John Costello, Jr., J.D. is a member of the fiduciary services team at The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company and has been accepted into Class VI of the Florida Fellows Institute of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC).
The Florida Fellows Institute was created by ACTEC Fellows to develop the profession’s future leaders in trust and estate law through a series of in-depth educational presentations led by leading subject matter experts in each field from across the U.S. “We are so proud of John for being accepted into the Florida Fellows Institute,” said S. Albert D. Hanser, Founder and Chairman of The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company. “We know this is a rare and prestigious opportunity in the legal profession and our company and clients will surely benefit from his participation.” The institute includes six sessions for lawyers who were nominated by an ACTEC Fellow and selected through a competitive application process. The program begins in October 2023 and concludes in May 2024.
Costello earned his J.D. degree with honors from Emory University School of Law, Atlanta, GA and his B.S. in Computer Science from Florida State University, Tallahassee, FL. His memberships and admissions include the Real Property, Probate & Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar where he was a fellow from 2014 through 2016, the Collier County Bar Association, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and The Florida Bar.
